SPECIAL PUBLIC REVIEW ON PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE NATIONAL MODEL CODESThe Canadian Commission on Building and Fire Codes (CCBFC) invites Code users and stakeholders to participate in a special public review of proposed changes to the following National Model Codes:
The proposed changes included in this review are the result of an editorial exercise to relocate design and construction provisions from the NFC to the NBC and provide respective cross-references. No new technical changes are being proposed. (More about the special spring public review.) This national public review takes place from April 6 to May 29, 2009. Its purpose is to:
FIVE STEPS FOR SUBMITTING COMMENTS ON PROPOSED CHANGESStep 1: Read the Guidelines for writing comments. Step 2: Read the Instructions for submitting comments. Step 3: View the proposed changes. Step 4: Complete the On-line Comment Form.
You may submit other related documents, such as reports, by e-mail, mail or fax. IMPORTANT: Submit one Comment Form per proposed change. If you are commenting on more than one proposed change, use a separate form for each one. Step 5: Read What Happens to the Comments?
