The public review will close June 30 2006, after which comments will no longer be accepted. The relevant CCBFC standing committee will review every comment that was received up to that date. The standing committee will then either withdraw the interim change, recommend that it be reviewed further for future consideration as a proposed change, or recommend that it be approved, with or without modification. The technical changes that are approved by the CCBFC will be published as interim changes to the 2005 National Building Code and/or National Plumbing Code.
